Yea, hammer is very effective for large organized groups in WvW since it can drop nearly unparalleled AoE burst at range without being hindered much by reflects. If it weren’t for reflects in WvW, it would be far behind the pack compared to other weapons and builds.Damage is not what it used to be and losing the Chill on dodge hurts more than expected. Still a very sturdy, beginner friendly build that can stand its ground in just about any matchup, but it's not as faceroll as it used to be, and it's worth swapping to some harder builds that have more damage once you're more familiar with Revenant.Power builds just suffer too hard from going hybrid. Power builds need 3 stats to function properly, condi only 2. For cele to work you need a build that benefits from most stats. Vindi does close to 0 condi damage so the expertise and condi dmg on it are wasted. But this is a mostly melee build meaning time spent NOT dodging won't be enough... and all of that condition duration really works in favor of the high condition damage.
