VCOM student here - seems like most medical schools across the country will be re-opening their doors for in-person interviews. I believe VCOM will be, too, but not 100% sure yet. In any case, I highly recommend you to attend in-person interviews if at all possible.

Many DO matriculants are averaging in the mid 3.x, depending on the program. Every year it gets more competitive and comparable to MD. Also need a strong MCAT, scores <500 or even in the low 500s are just simply not competitive either.
