Agreed. I don't think it would be very realistic to have Battlefield-level chopper control where you can literally sprint to a chopper, jump in and hold throttle and take off within 5 seconds. DayZ SA definitely made cars harder than Arma by making them manual, but I'd be surprised if they do anything too stupid with helis (such as Arma 3's advanced flight model). There is a learning curve, and it will never be Battlefield easy.
