I did chests en mass, 5 merge and harvest the soil instead of merging because that gives more hills. For grass: I find the levels 3-5 produce grass at about the same rate, then levels 6-7 seem to spawn a lot less grass. For golden seeds: It takes years to get them from level 3, and they spawn about 3 times a day (playing for about two hours a day) from the level 7 pond.
